What we build
WPShift connects to your cloud account, configures the server for WordPress and gives you the tools to manage the sites on it: installs, caching, backups, certificates, domains and the settings that matter after a site has gone live.
Why the server stays in your account
You should be able to choose where your sites run and see what the infrastructure costs. With your own cloud account connected, your provider invoices you directly and the server stays in that account whether or not you keep using WPShift.
Built around day-to-day hosting work
Setup that explains itself, site management in one place, and a record of what happened when something needs attention. Every action WPShift runs keeps its steps and output, so a failure comes with the reason rather than only the result.
The product is deliberately narrow. WPShift manages servers and the WordPress sites on them. It is not trying to be your CDN, your page builder or your analytics platform. There are better tools for each, and they work with a WPShift server the same as anywhere else.
What we spend the most time on is the unglamorous half: that a failed operation names the step and shows what the server reported, that a backup you have never tested still restores, and that the boundaries between one site and the next on a shared server are real ones.
